Blackberry Spinach Salad with Candied Pecans
This refreshing salad is a delightful mix of fresh spinach, juicy blackberries, and crunchy candied pecans. All perfectly rounded out with the aromatic notes of floral lavender and lemon. Ingredients:
Dressing:
¼ Cup Lavender Infused EVOO
1/8 Cup Meyer Lemon Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp Feta and Herb Dipper
1 tsp Rosemary Sea Salt
1 tsp Pecan Honey Mustard
1 TBS Minced Shallot
Scrunch of Black Pepper
Salad:
1 Bag of Spinach
½ Cup Feta Cheese
½ Cup Blueberries
Directions:
In a shaker add all the dressing ingredients and shake vigorously to emulsify.
Arrange spinach on a platter and add feta cheese, blueberries, and
candied pecans.
3. Pour the emulsified dressing over the greens and toss.
Less is more when it comes to dressing your salads.
Candied Pecans
Ingredients:
1 TBSP Sicilian Lemon EVOO
1 TBSP French Toast Sugar Shaker
½ Cup Pecan Halves
1 tsp Cumin Sea salt
1 TBSP Brown Sugar
Directions:
Warm the oil in a small frying pan over low heat.
When the oil shimmers add pecans, brown sugar, French
Toast Sugar Shaker and Cumin Sea Salt, cook 2 to 3
minutes, stirring constantly until mixture is caramelized.
3. Spread out on wax paper to cool.
