Lavender espresso pancakes
These are a delightful twist on classic pancakes, the floral notes of lavender combined with the bold flavor of espresso create a unique and delicious breakfast treat that is both fragrant and satisfying.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Vanilla Bean Sea
2 tsp Brown Sugar
1 Egg, Room Temp
2 TBSP Lavender EVOO
2 tsp Apple Chai Sugar
1/2 cup Milk, Room Temp
2 TBSP Espresso Powder
Butter
Powdered Sugar
Maple Syrup
Directions:
Activate the espresso by whisking 2 TBSP espresso and TBSP boiling hot water together. Let cool.
2. In a blender or medium size bowl mix together the cooled
espresso, milk, egg, and Lavender Olive Oil.
3. In a large bowl mix together the Vanilla Bean Sea Salt,
brown sugar and Apple Chai Sugar Shaker.
4. To the dry ingredients mix in the flour and baking powder
until combined.
5. Add to the blender the dry ingredients and blend or add
wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix, it is ok if it
is lumpy.
6. Heat a pan with butter or more Lavender Infused
Olive Oil for a more floral flavor.
7. Pour a ladle full of batter and cook over medium heat.
When you see small bubbles it is time to flip and cook until
done.
8. Top with butter, maple syrup or Blackberry Balsamic and
enjoy!
